Jun, sadly, will not be advancing to the next round of Saimoe. Still, to make it this far being male is pretty impressive. He lost by quite a bit to Hinagiku.

So another of the Kanon girls advances to the next round in Saimoe. I have to say, things are looking good for Kanon. This is giving me hope for Mai~ :3
This episode has sent me into ultra Gurren Lagann fan mode, if that makes any sense. Even with the flashbacks for the first half, it was still an amazing episode. Spoilers behind the cut.

The first half of episode 5 starts out with a short scene of Potemayo getting covered in butterflies. The rest of it is more centered around Guchuko, though with her scenes being broken up by Sunao’s classmates going on a long journey to get to a Cinema. The tsundere moe blob is resting in a tree outside of Kyo’s house, when she falls out of it, asleep. She’s rescued from a bush by Kyo and faints upon being hugged by her.
