Leaving off from last week, Lelouch is confronted by his father at the Sword of Akasha. Using his very mutli-purpose remote, he is able to geass Charles without being geassed himself. Geassed ‘to die’, Charles shoots himself in the heart. Elsewhere, Suzaku is forcing himself the refrain on Kallen, but then realizes at the last moment that that’s actually not a very nice thing to do.

Cutting Lelouch’s celebration short, Charles gets back up and reveals that he’s immortal now after killing V.V. Apparently the sibling complex wasn’t inherited from Lulu’s father. He proceeds to mindfuck Lelouch for a little while. Villeta and Ougi finally reunite, only to have Ninja-Meido interrupt. Ninja-Meido throws some kunai at Villeta only to have Ougi use his body as a shield and fall off a cliff, followed by Villeta.

Finally, after 30-something episodes, the specifics of C.C.’s one true wish is revealed. She wishes for Lelouch to kill her, which would make him immortal like her. She transports him to her memories, which feature loli!C.C whose geass enabled her to be loved. Suzaku finds out that Lelouch is Zero but hesitates to tell the emperor for Nunally’s sake.

After witnessing C.C.’s memories, Lelouch is returned to the Sword of Akasha where his father is trying to do… something to C.C. Lelouch seems to bring her to her senses or something and she helps get his mecha usable. He destroys the platform-thing and both him and C.C. are transported back to the gate where it seems she’s lost her memories. Meanwhile, Nina has successfully set off one of her nukes.

This episode was pretty good, despite lacking Cornelia. They finally revealed one of the show’s biggest mysteries but it wasn’t all that shocking. I had the feeling that C.C.’s one wish wouldn’t be anything happy. The fact that she lost her memories was pretty surprising, though. I wonder if she’ll refer to Lulu as ‘goshujin-sama’ for the rest of the series now… Could it be that Sunrise is trying to make excuses for meido C.C.?

Suzaku finally realized that he was turning into Lelouch, whose actions he has been critical of the entire series. It’s a shame that he had to almost drug one of his friends before he realized it, though. Oh Suzaku~ Well, everything’s been prepared for another dramatic Lelouch-Suzaku encounter.

I’m sure this week’s episode made the OugiVilleta shippers happy. I don’t think that they’re dead yet, but I wouldn’t bet anything on that because it’s hard to make theories when it comes to Code Geass. I still stand by my theory that Miya is behind everything, of course.
